Carlow Hearing is a Fully Independent Irish Owned Company. Founded in 2014 we opened our dedicated Hearing Centre in Carlow Town the following year. We provide the very latest and best in Hearing aid product Design and Technology. We pride ourselves on being a fully comprehensive clinic, assessing and treating all aspects of hearing loss. This includes microsuction wax removal, Auditory processing assessments, diagnostic hearing evaluations and custom noise protection.
Donal Keane (Hearing aid Audiologist)
Founder and senior hearing aid audiologist Donal Keane holds a degree in Hearing Aid Audiology from Anglia Ruskin University Cambridge(UK) FdSc HAA. He is also a Board Certified Hearing Aid Specialist BC-HIS (USA).
He is a member of both the Irish and International Societies of Hearing Aid Audiologists and a panelist with the Irish Department of Social Protection. With over 20 years of hearing aid experience, Donal brings an extensive range of knowledge to the practice.
Justine Rae (Clinical Audiologist)
Originally from South Africa, Justine brings years of expertise to her role as partner and Clinical Audiologist at Carlow Hearing. She holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Audiology from the University of Cape Town and has worked extensively in both the private and public sector in her home country, as well as in the UK and Ireland for over twenty years.
Justine has a particular interest in Diagnostic hearing assessments for adults and children, Auditory processing disorder and Microsuction wax removal.
